U-HOOKD didn't start with a pitch deck. It started with a body shop — and the daily frustration of watching time and money disappear because tools had nowhere to go.
Spray guns on the floor. Bottles rolling around. Technicians hunting for equipment between every stage. The industry hadn't evolved, and nobody was building something better.
So during the COVID-19 shutdowns, we did it ourselves. We taught ourselves 3D design and printing from scratch, ran hundreds of prototypes, and tested everything in real shops. What came out the other side was U-HOOKD.
From design to dispatch, every product is made with care in Calgary, Alberta — and shipped to body shops in over 25 countries.
How We Got Here
The Problem
Working inside a body shop, we saw it every single day — tools without homes, clutter slowing down every stage, time being wasted on things that shouldn't matter.
The Shutdown
When COVID hit and shops closed, we had a choice: wait, or build. We chose to build. We bought a 3D printer and spent months learning everything from the ground up.

Our first products hit real shops and the response was immediate. Faster workflows. Less clutter. More jobs done per day. Orders started rolling in from across North America.
